Can you merge Fortnite accounts?
No. Epic Games currently does not allow merging two Epic Games accounts, and support can’t do it for you. That means you can’t combine two separate inventories into one account.
Why merging was removed
The old merge feature ended years ago. Today, if a video or site claims it can “merge accounts” or “transfer skins”, treat it as a red flag. At best it’s outdated; at worst it can put your account at risk.
What you can do instead (official options)
If you play on console/PC/mobile, make sure each platform account is linked to the Epic account you actually want to use.
Cross-platform progress sync works when the linking is correct — but it’s not the same as merging two separate Epic accounts.
Common mistakes
- Trying to “move” skins or V-Bucks between logins (this isn’t supported).
- Using “merge services” or sketchy tools that request your login.
- Linking the wrong console account and then hitting re-link restrictions.
Security checklist (recommended)
If you can’t merge accounts, what are your options?
If you have multiple logins, pick the Epic account you fully control (email + 2FA), and link your platform accounts to that one. This is the safest long-term setup.
Some players prefer starting fresh with a single account to avoid confusion with emails, console links, and recovery problems. If you go this route, make sure the email is yours and enable 2FA.
If your goal is mainly having a certain skin set (instead of “merging”), you can browse curated inventory bundles on our site. No pressure — it’s simply an alternative for people who want a specific cosmetic lineup without spending months waiting for rotations.
